Getting your photo in Retro Lovely is as easy as ordering a copy, well actually three. That's right. Pre-Order just 3 copies of Retro Lovely (you know you want to anyway) and you can include a photo of your very own on our pages. You will be included in the next issue and can take part in our magazine like you can't in any other publication out there. The corkboard of issue #1 was an instant hit and HUGE SUCCESS and it's very likely the corkboard space in future issues will sell through very quickly.
Review the info on this page and when you have decided on how you want your photo to look, click the sample and you will be whisked away to our store for ordering. Once your order has been placed, you will be sent a link where you will provide all necessary info so that we may begin working your image into our layout, you can even pick the color of your pushpin!. Depending on response the final size of the feature may be as large a full two page spread (Issue #1 became 2 pages in short order). Each page will be limited to no more than 30 images. See the PDF for size approximations. Inst-o-matic themed images are subject to an additional $20 set up charge for any personalized messages, but we do give you 5 copies of the issue anyway.
Retro Lovely is a genuine offset press magazine featuring high quality printing an premium stock. This is NOT a print on demand publication printed one at a time on photocopiers or digital presses (lulu - MagCloud) Your image will be in several thousand copies. Not just the ones you get. Your image will be in the same copies our featured artists will have for sale at many of this years major events. (Viva Las Vegas, Lone Star roundup and many many more)
Raggedy Anne is a classic photo shape with a rough edge finish. Perfect for that vintage feel. You'll be just as swell as grandma was, framed by this wonderful presentation.
Squaresville is a more finished image treatment with nice clean edges but still showing some signs that its been loved. A great photo-style for when you just can't decide if you need to go portrait or landscape with your photo.
Inst-O-Matic is a classic. From an age when the rage was space and atoms and we began to develop our "need it now" legacy, this photo frame is terrific in that it provides an area for a personalized message. We can even apply your handwritten message or signature! (Messages and signatures at an additional charge.)
This poor photo was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Is that paint? Is it ketchup? We can't be sure, but we can be sure this would make a great photo treatment for the gal who is proud she's from the wrong side of the tracks, she shows her stuff with a devil-may-care bravado we applaud.
Matchbookie is an extremely fun route to claim your piece of the corkboard. There is a reduced size for the image, but this is offset by the impact you'll have on the page. Among all the photos, this will surely stand out. Great for a business as well, your message has several places it can be included.
What corkboard doesn't have it's share of invoices and business cards hanging from it? This is a perfect way for your business to gain some visibility in Retro Lovely. As far as size goes, check the PDF download which provides an indication of the size of the corkboard spaces, another quick guide would be to take a business card and fold it in half, the longest edge is ever so slightly larger than the longest edge of your card would appear on our pages.
Click the graphic at the right for a PDF showing you the approximate size of each of these images as they would appear on the finished page.
Keep in mind approximately 30 images will be included per page. Placement of the image on the page is at the sole determination of Retro Lovely Magazine.
Images must be the property of the party submitting them. Ideally candids and snapshots. Images will require a signed release form in order to publish them. Should an image show multiple persons, a release for each person is required. Images depicting nudity, suggestive, lewd or otherwise un-cool content will be refused for publication. Retro Lovely reserves the right to refuse any submission for these reasons.
